As quickly as the world around us changed, it is forgotten. 5 months later and the efforts put into keeping the uk afloat during the pandemic are being forgotten. Do not forget what we went through. We are worth more than that.
How are you post lockdown? Have you achieved anything new and exciting? Or are you like me, rather exhausted, limp and just a bit lost? Whatever’s the answer is, it’s ok to feel that way.
Slouched in my pyjamas, displaying posture any grandmother would be mortified with; hair untied revelling a kinked, messy mane; one hand mindlessly shovelling popcorn into the centre of my face while the other swipes left or right based on a snap judgement
Every two years, a new version of myself emerges into the world, donning a new style, hair colour and interests. A rebirth aiming to bring me the happiness I’ve seen in others who look the same. But perhaps it’s times to shed this skin. Become me and accept that I am who I am.
